Do you know of its relation to the climate crisis and its impact on residents\u2019 health and especially on the health of vulnerable groups in urban areas?\u00a0The European project LIFE ASTI studied\u00a0the research data of UHI identified in 3 European cities, Thessaloniki, Rome, and Heraklion,\u00a0and created a short-term forecast system that warns citizens and visitors of urban centers about the heat load during hot days. The LIFE ASTI project also developed a questionnaire to assess citizens&amp;#39; awareness on the UHI effect and to investigate their intention to change their habits to effectively address the problem. Your participation in this research is valuable for the scientific work of the researchers working on the UHI effect.
